Right here in Downtown Chicago they are filming the next Batman movie. Man this is so wild. I came out of my office building today and saw all of these SWAT trucks that all had Gotham Police Dept all printed on them. There were also a lot of squad cars with the words Gotham Police Departmant written on them as well. They even had regular cars (including a $300,000 Bentley) with Gotham license plates on them. I wish I knew how to download photo's so I could show them all to you. That was all so cool. How many people here have ever seen a movie being filmed in their own homwtown?
Here, read this :)

I saw this a week or so ago. I looks kind of 'clunky' now but I'll bet its much cooler on the screen.

That's cool.
I'm in Toronto. They film here constantly. And I mean CONSTANTLY.
Right now their filming "Cinderella Man" with Russel Crowe.
They turned one of our famous buildings-Maple Leaf Gardens-
into Madison Sq Garden.
If you watch the new Resident Evil 2 trailer and see the ( ) shaped building that the bomb wave hits that is Toronto City Hall.

Thats great! I remember here in Chicago Mayor Daley gave a speech once, stating that some movie company made a movie about Chicago...... and filmed it in Toronto
Why they did that...the world may never know :o

Those monsters. I was in London when they were filming the first Tomb Raider movie at Greenwich. Never got to see Angelina, tho.
I think it's cheaper to film in Canada. They're doing a lot in Australia now, too.
