They do have a stream they call "Underground rap" (Which i thought just RAP music) But it isnt.............

People have a very warped sense of what is "RAP" and what is "HIP HOP" They are nothing alike and 1 is good and the other pure trash.. (80s hip hop was OK)

I have no earthly idea what this thread is supposed to be about.

But as a lifetime fan of all kinds of music, (and a musician myself for over 30 years) I think I can comfortably & happily offer this observation about rap music;

Aside from the proliferation of crystal methamphetamine, there has been no great influence in the 'dumbing-down' of the urban & suburban youth of this (our) modern western culture.

With very few exceptions, rap music is formula-matic, predictable, trite, hackneyed, and borrows way too heavily from other legitimate musical sources. In fact, most modern rap 'artists' sample and borrow so heavily from each other that it's a miracle they aren't all mired in one lawsuit after another.

I have listened to a variety of rap artists since the beginning of the 'genre', and I haven't heard an original thought, lyric, rhythm, or melody in nearly fifteen years.
