A perfect example in my opinion of how the Bible is skewed to benefit people financially under the guise of helping people.

How do people take them seriously? Esp, after so many of them have been exposed as frauds?

It's also funny how they tell folks "healers" are bad unless they come from there church. In my opinion if a person can heal and another needs healing then it is special no matter what church they come from, if any.

Exactly what I was going to say. People skew the laws of this country (and others) to scam people out of money too.

These guys get away with this crap because many christians think that if someone believes in god they must be a good person.

Just as many christians think that if you don't believe in god you must be a bad person.

Good and bad people come in all denominations and religions and that includes atheists and agnostics.

No it's not the Bibles fault. It is a tool, an implement used by Humans. Straying from it's intended purposes. In my minds eye losing it's credibility because the point has been lost, so I want less and less to do with it.

I think there are people with gifts. Healing tendancies. Whether they are conscious or aware of it is another thing. EG: My brother has a calming soothing affect on Adria when she is really spazzing out. I can be holding her and she'll be struggling all day, right when I am reaching a high level of fatigue, he'll stop in and pick her up and she calms right down. He has an affect on her that is really noticable. He can carry her for hours like this and it really helps me out, and it helps her out too.

Now healing: I would like to think there are people who are drawn to helping and caring for poeple. As for an all out healing or abolishment of an illnes, I think this is really rare.

My experiences tell me that you are correct in your views.
There are people with the ability to make changes in others.

You will not see the true healers on t.v. or in religious sideshows.
The ones I have been priviledged to know shun publicity of any kind. A condition of keeping quite about the attempt to help someone is usually asked of the recipient.
For some reason it does not always work. But, I have seen many wonders. One with my Granddaughters lukemia. Now gone.

In other places I have seen people debate God. I just wish that people could realize that what they seek is within each of us.
The average person cannot accept this. But, they have not seen the things I have seen in my lifetime and been fortunate enough to have been involved in. No longer would they fear tommorow or death. Sometimes people truely disappoint me with their I and Me attitudes. People can have almost limitless control of their invironment yet close their eyes to what is all around them.

Will not bend your ear further, I get carried away sometimes.

I think most of us find ourselves on that path at some time or other and these people, these tellemarketers, take advantage of this to scam people of their money, their peace of mind, and their ability to remain functioning, thinking, human beings. God is with each of us and the miracles he may choose to perform by means of others are gifts of his love. If anyone has sinned, it is those people that take advantage of their fellow man by misusing sacred text.

Please, the BIBLE refers to followers of Christ as his lambs, because we are to humble at his feet. For Christ is the Lamb of God, we are to be the lambs of Christ.
