When Star Trek came along there had been nothing quite like it and I enjoyed the show although it was somewhat simplistic.
Shatner always left something to be desired in his acting ability.
Seems sort of pathetic now to see the old fat guy try to act.
Have heard that he was always a stuck up assinine person.

I liked shatner in his younger days on Star Trek, not its just like he is trying to hard hehe - I couldnt make it through even one of his songs either LOL

Here's a shocker for all of you!!

Last night my wife and I saw a commercial for some new show coming out. It's your regular kind of lawyer show with all the related crap. However, there were a couple flashes of an actor and I was drawn in to watch this commercial. The shock at the end:

Shatner is back, he is one of the stars of this show.

I sat there in the living room with my jaw on the floor. How could this happen? I mean, I like the star trek movies and tv show, but this is 2004, a new series with Shatner? I expected a two hour "Whatever happened to TJ Hooker?" but not a new series!! Oh well!

Also, postings need to make sense. What powers do Shatner and Nimoy have? Neither has made much of an impact on the world of entertainment lately.
