Actually, I like these types of threads a lot better than the goofy Kerry/Bush propaganda threads that some people seem to be attached to. At least this thread would be about ideology!
Incidentally, I think there is some merit to comparing the war on drugs to the prohibition era.

I agree completely Karankawa...the Government is engaged in a futile effort to stop people from doing something that they want to do, and enriching organized crime in the process.
