That's sad all those people lost their jobs, etc.. Why was the company shut down?

i think it has something to do about taxes, or something like that....

they hid lots of losses to make it appear like they were making lots of money, but they weren't. so when it came out, not only were they still way under, but all of there stocks fell too.

They told all their employees to buy enron stock, the CEO and others made millions after their employees lost it all :(

Committing suicide is a bit extreme, but it is better than going to jail, as he would soon do.

Yeah, I've heard more about it.. I think some of the executives wouldn't let their employees sell their stock, so now they are rich and 99% of the others are broke with no retirment :(

All the money they made, they should be made to divide it up to the employees. would never happen but thats what I feel should be done

First off Republican Elizabeth Dole said she would stop campaigning after 9/11 but she didn't she had a fundraiser with Enron on September 28. Also it is well know that G.W.Bush is very good friends with 3 former CEO's of Enron! Also many high ranking Republicans gave some money to Enron and the Republican Party recieved a nice chunk of change from Enron!!! The Democratic Party gave no money to Enron!!! So this just proves that Republicans are Selfish Crooks!:tank:

Jeff, I think you might want to rethink what you said, because you just said Republicians are selfish crooks. Unless you can prove George W. Bush, or Elizabeth Dole knew about the Eron thing prior to it becoming public, what you just did is Slander. Just a thought, I know its your opinion and I have learned to accept it.
