I read that
John Kerry is Half-Jewish,
Is his wife Jewish?
So if John Kerry is half-Jewish, this means his children are
1/4 Jewish
But will John Kerry be considered the first Jewish President?
He could use his POWER as President to
Combat Anti-Semitism.

Well being as though Conneticut Senator, Joeseph Liberman is considered the Senates first Jewish elected member, and John Kerry is currently serving in that same body, and Joseph Liberman ran much of his own campaign strictly on the premise that he would be the country's first Jewish president, I am 99.9% John Kerry will not be considered the country's first Jewish President.

kerry is jewish when he is talking to jews, thats about it. he is a war hero when talking to vets ("I got three purple hearts"), and a war opposer when talking to his base ("I threw my medals over the fence remember!") Just like he voted for the war when preaching to war supporters, and voted against it when talking to his base. he has all bases covered.

Let me see, a year ago bush stated "I am a war president". Two weeks ago he stated "I am a peace president". Hmmmm? I guess that makes him a flip flopper and a liar. He says he's good for the economy when talking to unions members. He says he is strong on defense when talking to military personel, he says he is pro family when talking to womens groups, I don't have the time to document all his flipping and flopping. Like a fish out of water....flip-flop...... flip-flop.... flip-flop.
I am everything to everybody!

Maybe this is true of any politician, but you can't seriously be dumb enough to not see the parallel between his peace and war president statements. I realistically think, in this particular context, that they were one and the same. In order to achieve peace, we've historically had to go to war. This simple historical knowledge leads me to ask you two very easy questions: 1) what's your point? 2) How were those statements flip-flops?

He can't make up his mind who or what he is. He tries to be everything to everyone. Back when he was running for pres I pointed out to people how he fudged his beliefs about choice. He was very anti choice as governor but when he started running for pres he softened his stance and then as soon as he got in office he switched back to being totally anti choice again.
Your statement about going to war to get peace doesn't apply to this war because their was peace before we went to war. If we go to war to help win a war then you can say we went to war in order to have peace. But when there already is peace and we go to war for political reasons, that staement is false.

Tell that to the victim’s families of the 9/11 atrocity.

You left out -- "when talking to blacks" -- errr ... wait a minute -- he doesn't talk to blacks. Forget it.

OK! Let's take a non-partisan view for a moment. Can we all agree that both of the poilitians in question, as well as most others, "flip-flop". However, don't you admit that you exaggerate things to make yourself or your viewpoints seem more palatable to a certain audience?

Generally speaking...yes, and I think theres a reason for it.
Now a days, everyone thinks theyre way of life is right...so the politician pops up for a speech, and says yep you are right...thus making that group of people say, see I told you we were right, lets vote for him.
I think if people were smarter, politics would be cleaner, but in reality people are generally dumb, and have to be fed from the hand, so the politician picks up some candy and lays it out there....
