John kerry is taking a boat across boston harbor with all the members of his vietnam crew (except for the guy who thinks he is a liar) to the convention in a sickening display of exploitation of a few months in vietnam. Once there they will show all the footage he had shot of him with his personel movie camera of his reinactments of battles he went back to shoot after the fact. How can a guy who hated the war and the miltarys involvement in it play up those 4 months with no thought about how much of a hyporit he is? Your either against the war or your not, if you took part in something you felt a crime and unjust how can you later on try and use it to get something you want? as strongly as he felt agaisnt the war, strong enough to come back and testify that the americans serving there were little more then savages raping and burning the land, how can he take pride in being part of it? it would be like an officer in the Waffen SS using his service to bolster his election bid. If a nazi denounced the war but showed movies of himself rolling across Russia in a tiger tank would that be OK? in reality that is how Kerry thought of vietnam, as a war crime, now he shows pictures of himself partaking in that war crime and reenacts parts of it on boston harbor? it just seems a little to fake to me.

Trav I’m greatly sorry you cannot accept the fact that John Kerry showed true leadership during Vietnam. Every person who served under John Kerry (but one) supports him, and said he never made one mistake during the war. That John Kerry saved their lives. How he was a true commander, and a great person.
Yes, you have your Veterans Against Kerry, who for the most part didn’t serve under him. Yes, who for the most part are Republican’s trying to discredit Kerry’s service. But if you are a reasonable person, you can see past their lies and understand that John Kerry showed great strength during this war. It’s a shame how you cannot accept reality, Trav.

No, Trav, it shows true dedication to your country. It shows that he is willing to put his life on the line, for this great country of ours, no matter if he agrees with it or not. So no, he is not a hypocrite; he is a man who loves his country.

Trav, he did not say that all the men did this. He said many did, including himself. Our Government’s policies forced men to commit these acts. Which is why when he came home, he fought to end our Government’s policies of death and killing of the innocent.
The soldiers he attacked were the ones that raped women, which I think, is reasonable.
He showed that he does have leadership skills. He has proven it in combat, and he can make good, fast, and reliable decisions under pressure. That is who we need as our next President.

Stop over exaggerating things, and blowing them out of proportion. He said many people committed war crimes, and the last I checked, that’s true.

eVERY PERSON, BUT ONE. THAT MAKES A LOT OF SENSE. His own commanding officers said he was highly overated and left duty at the first chance. Of all the people I would trust to tell me about how great he was the people crossing boston harbor with him today are the ones i would trust the least. its obvious they are in it for the ride, and givien a microphone will espouse kerrys virtues until the reporter pukes on their shoes. even you cant not recognize that everyone with him only says good things about him.

let me get this straight overdose, any verteran who praises kerry is simply stating the truth, any veteran who doesnt bend over for him is only a republican trying to discredit him and is lying. I will tell you this overdose, it is sad that I feel the way I do about kerry, because I have the greatest respect for veterans, even for gray davis who I voted for the first time becaue of his war record, but when a slimeball like kerry comes along, get 3 fake purple hearts, takes his home movies and runs at the first chance is passed off as the greatest soldier to come out of vietnam it makes me sick.

so you are going to vote for an admitted war criminal? why arent you calling for him to be tried at the Hague? seriously you will say anyhting at any time wont you? do you even stop to think before you start typing? anyway, he never specified any specific people who commited war crimes. saying many doesnt mean shit. there were "many" people coming back every day. unless he names names the idiots will see no difference between "many" and "all"

Actually, you were allowed to leave after you received 3 purple hearts. So John Kerry took his opportunity to go home and protest this horrible war America was fighting.

Trav, no they are not “along for the ride” The only reason you say they are “along for the ride” is because what they have to say, discredits everything you're spewing. And I think I’ll trust the people who served under him, over someone like you.

Well, if every person (but one) who served under him, supports him, I think I’ll trust them more then I will trust all the other veterans who didn’t serve under him.

Nope, in order to get a purple heart you had to be wounded and get medical attention. Each time Kerry was wounded and needed medical attention. That doesn’t mean he had to go to the hospital, though. So he earned them the way our Government let soldiers earn them.

Stop trying to spin it on me, Trav. I’m not exactly like John Kerry. But he is not a hypocrite. He went to war because he thought it was the right thing to do, to defend our country. While he was at war he saw the atrocities and horror, and he then came home to protest this war that was not accomplishing anything, and that was forcing many soldiers to commit war crimes.

Our Government forced John Kerry to go into Vietnam and commit these acts of horror. So yes, I would vote for him.

Because he was forced to by our Government, so he shouldn’t be tried, our Government should be.
