"TARGETED" Martial Law in effect? Did we actually miss its enaction?

It would seem to me that the President has declared himself empowered to exercise martial law in a manner to be exclusively determined by himself. Apparantly this designation "enemy combatant" or "terrorist" is a NEW TIME, PLACE, AND PERSON SPECIFIC APPLICATION OF MARTIAL LAW.

What we have all expected is a general declaration of Martial law across the land, applying to everyone. What we have been confronted with is a "war powers act" enabled , carefully focused exercise of martial law, at the discretion of the regime. The political leaders of this nation thereby have endowed themselves with the advantages of both systems!

There is generally avoided the public dissent and unrest that a general declaration of Martial law would provoke. The people, not disrupted from their normal routine, sense no threat or usurpation of rights. There is no public sense of the threat to and need for defense and protection of our civil rights, until one by one Americans begin disappearing. Those specific persons who dissent are highly visible, easily targeted and seized under a targeted martial law system. What it boils down to is that you have all the freedom in the world as long as you toe the line. Failure to applaud and kow- tow to the agenda of these new ruling elite will soon rematerialize you in a regime of despotic tyrants where you as a citizen have no human rights at all.

We have what we did not expect, TARGETED MARTIAL LAW. A much more difficult to eradicate tyranny.
