Does anyone know of some good pickups to buy used for pretty cheap (say, less than $15k or $10k)? As for favorite cars, I like those old Chevy Impalas from the 60's. Those are pretty sweet.

Where I live, there is no nearby public transportation. The distance to the nearest store is such that walking is not an option. When I lived elsewhere, and the amenities existed, I used public transit regularly.

i must admit I also have a small car (a Renault Clio)

Had a Renault Le Car while in Germany for a couple of years. Bought it new, it didn't really last long. Wasn't really impressed.
