i tend to think i read a lotf. i like myseries, horrors, fantasies...etc.


however, i discovered this book called battle royale. it is a modern day loard of the flies aboutt kids who have to play a game of dog -eat -dog. i highly suggest that you read it. it is the best book i have ever read.....well written and a great story line. i have let three oither people read it and they all agree wiht me. so please check it out: Battle Royale by 'some japanese guy'

the fascist japanese government sends 42 kids to do a 'test' for the military. however it is really just a sick games that the japanese leaders play and place best on who will win. it goes through a lot of twists adn turns. it is neat because each kid has a different weapon and you really see the pyschological troubles the kids go through. i HIGHLY suggest that everyone reads it. you wont be dissapointed

I remeber a japanese movie was adapted from this book a few years ago. It seemed pretty violent (not surprisingly). Or maybe the book is anovelisation of the movie ?

yes. they had a movie about the book a year after the book cam e out. it is very hard to get on video in the states, but yoiu can find it on movie sharers like kazaa
