Well now that President Bush is having the Military call up a huge amount of the former retired personal you can bet he's lost the election now,"hehehe". You know for the biggest part of Veterans when your time is up your tired of the Military life style and your ready to move on, your gun hoo days are over . Can't imagine to many of them over joyed about this. After hearing this I just bet you there's thousands of them just beggen for a voting booth !!! The Republicans just lost the election !!!!

Time is only up for enlisted at 30 years and for officers at 62 years of age...
It is in the enlistment contracts, mine stated that I was obligated to serve 6 years even though my enlistment was 4 active. But now it has been increased to an 8 year program.
Retirees know that they are obligated to 30 years service but may retire as early as 20 but remain in this pool.

Better than drafting and better than being under staffed.
I agree it will hurt his bid for re-election.
