Was just wondering if anyone knows how the Iraqee system might put Saddam to death once convicted. Might his head be cut off ??

I am not sure and frankly I think we should let those who are family of the ones he killed decide.
I saw video of Hussein releasing Dobermans to kill people, I have seen video of hands being cut off and Saddam is standing next to Uday in the background. So no matter what they decide it is their decision.

I know the Saudi's behead people, but for some reason I suspect that Saddam will be hanged.

He's already dead -- brain dead that is. You can bet your last dollar our people have chemically mushed his brain so he can't tell what he knows about the bush-family/rumsfeld/saddam/OBL/energy-crisis/oil connections. I would be surprised if the man even knows his own name at this time.

Must know his own name, he and his daughter are complaining his letters are being delayed and censored... Like we want him to have free communications, we censor inmates letters here so why should he be any different.
Speaking of foreign leaders in jail any one hear anything about Noriega?

Drew, where do you live ?
Do you frequently see people hang dogs in the streets ?

Anyway, he has not been judged yet. Maybe he will not be sentenced to death.

I see nothing wrong with bringing out the Arabic method of being stoned to death. Could take a while.

Whatever methods he used to kill his own people, he should be put to death with...the old "eye for an eye" philosophy.

 no wonder saddam has french lawyers. then you got dop concerned about saddam not being able to implicate bush and cheany on the stand becasue we used to much sodium pentathol or whatever the hell chemicals on him. this world truly is insane. if the insane people take over, does that make them normal? I think it does.

What's ironic, is that you call Saddam a horrible man for doing such atrocities. Yet you find it perfectly fine to do it right back to him. Hypocritical?

what in the world is up with this undying love affair between you and saddam? do you see him as some sort of victim or folk hero? what gives? you bend over backwards to convinve people he was absolutly no threat and really just set up for failure throughtout his carrer by the americans. you have said we gave him weapons, we told him to attack iran, he really did fully comply with the UN, we should trust his word. will it ever end?

I doubt they will put him to death. The civilized world doesn't accept the death penalty but of course we still do -- just ask Carla Faye Tucker ... LOL

More than likely he will die from some strange disease, be offed by some pissed off prisoner or soldier or cop or priest or whatever -- or he will do a dirt nap on himself -- someone smuggle in some poison, hang himself upside down in a spider hole, overdose on date palms out of season (ROTF) or eat too much yellowcake.

to bad for saddam Iraq is not part of the civilized wrld i guess. the iraqis, the ones who endured his regime, do not have the detached "I dont give a shit" attitude shared by the "civilized world". he will be executed in short order.

It does, "make them normal" in the world of Psychological abnormality, society draws the line between acceptable and unacceptable patterns of thought and behavior, by our peers, what we call societys norms. Such rules circumscribe every aspect of our existence, from our most far-reaching decisions to our most prosaic daily routines. Wow, be are all NUTS then arnt we ????????:D

The Iraqui people will think twice about off'n Saddam. The civilized world does not like the death penalty and would most certainly sanction the country, probably through the UN, thus bringing them to their knees economically.

Make no mistake about it -- big brother United States can not and will not support Iraq all by ourselves and if we try the american people will get mighty pissed off that we are paying for their health care, building them schools and feeding them when we don't even have those issues under control here at home.

It will take all the modern countries to get Iraq back on her feet and convince her to become a democratic society and the people know that.

A little accident that kills Saddam is the same as the death penalty and it's the easy way out for all concerned.

once again dop is wrong and another one of his predictions will fall flat on its face. saddam will be executed by the iraqis and the iraqis will give a big middle finger to all the ninnies in the UN who feel it not worthy of helping to liberate them but feel it is their duty to criticize what they do to saddam. anyone talking about the UN making anyone pay is freaking hilarious. all they can do is pass a resolution not worth the paper its printed on, as far as backing up their threats? thats funny shit.
