I read a thread on another forum (http://talk.livedaily.com) and decided to post my own version here.

Here's how it works. Pick 5 books at random. Now take a random sentence from each and make it into a paragraph. Here is what I got on the other thread.

1. The Peoples of Africa: The Egyptians by Barbara Watterson
2. Reaper Man by Terry Pratchett
3. The Skies of Pern by Anne McCaffrey
4. Thunderhead by Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child
5. Otherland: Volume Three: Mountain Of Black Glass by Tad Williams

"Egypt has the longest continuous history of any country." "'Especially when everyone can't move because you guys have got it so's the carts are backed up all round the block and no one can move because everyone's in someone else's way, right?'" "'And suggest that all Halls keep guard at night,' Flar said." "As they turned to walk out on the ledge, Nora glanced back at the reverse spirals on the wall behind the ruin." "She Leaned on the balcony railing, waiting for the end of the world."

This is going to be lame since I'm doing this at work:

Exploration is a fundamental component of innovation. And they love to point to 1995 when it took NBC ony a weekend of sew up the exclusive rights to televise five of the next six Olympic Games for $4 billion. Every solution has a problem. Far from being penalized for using the GFT, two years later she was given a $5,000 award for outstanding service in her new management position. While this approach may at times become confrontational, the advantage is that workers and managers alike are encouraged to drop the barriers to communication that often get in the way of good ideas.
