"With the first 1.5 million-copy printing of "My Life" already committed, the publisher A.J. Knopf already plans a second printing (http://www.newsday.com/news/nationworld/nation/ny-usclin173853038jun17,0,4986630.story?coll=ny-nationalnews-headlines), company officials said."

I think any book written by a President would be pretty popular.

Heck, I'll probably read it, but I'd never vote for a Clinton in a million years.

I won't buy it though. Thank goodness for the library.

Reading the book doesn't necessarily indicate approval. If he covers all of the scandals in his presidency, I bet it would be a fascinating book.

Ah, yes..........all those scandals (http://www.salon.com/news/1998/08/cov_12news.html)......that added-up to ZERO!!!!!! :p

Compared to Clinton's ACCOMPLISHMENTS (http://clinton5.nara.gov/WH/Accomplishments/eightyears-01.html), George Bush's book will be as voluminus as an average pamphlet!!!!!

Mr Shaman I would invite you to step in front of a federal judge and commit perjury, but make sure you gain a favorable ruling with that perjury, let see how many years of nothing you get.....

Maybe you haven't heard.

Lying, about SEX, still isn't a hanging-offense, within the general-public.......especially if you're a conservative. (http://www.salon.com/news/1998/09/11newsb.html) :@@:

Perjuring oneself in front of a federal judge is, plain and simple. Look it up, some people who lied to have sexual harrasment suits dismissed recieived 5-10 years fed time for the offense.
So why is Billy different?
I dont care if he had sex with a goat, but I do care that he lied to a federal judge. same thing Nixon did by the way.........Dems still scream about that one.....

Guess what, whether or not there was anything behind them, they were indeed scandals.

You're comparing sex to having a crazy drunk (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/onpolitics/watergate/documents.htm) in the Whitehouse?????

Someone's gotta explain the concept of Priorities, to you.

What chaps my ass is that the media (including our boys at 60 minutes), kept saying that the only thing bringing so much coverage of the Reagan Death was in fact the media. Well now Mr.Clintons book is out and you hear about it on almost every news media source there is. But in reality the only thing driving it is the media. I might be wrong and some of you will tell me I am, but thats my observation.

You read, yet you don't comprehend.

There was controversy, therefore there was a scandal. Even if the controversy was unfounded. Ah hell, why am I even bothering?

Shaman you need to get your head out of your ass. Any time you lie to a grand jury and perjur yourself it is wrong and illegal no matter how "white" a lie it is. I could care less about the sex...it is the fact he lied about it that pisses me off. Besides how many Presidents are allowed the distinct honor of getting impeached?

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh.......so all scandals are the result of controversy, huh?

Very interesting!

In-other-words.......the U.S. political/social situation would be in much better shape, if there was less controversy.

I guess that another way of saying "There should be limits to freedom-of-speech".....especially if that speech is controversial.

Whatta safe little society we've become!!!

Ah, yes........after all, we need some justification for spending $78M, investigating a failed real-estate venture (http://www.salon.com/news/1998/02/cov_24news.html) that went belly-up too early for Republicans' taste!!!

This.....of course.....was brought-to-you by those conservatives who're all-the-time crowing about their expertise at fiscal-management!!!!

If ya' need porn, don't expect the U.S.-taxpayers to subsidize it.

You (almost) sound like you (actually) BELIEVE that!!!! (http://www.sunherald.com/mld/thesunherald/news/editorial/8967502.htm)

"His political enemies from that era have been consumed by scandals of their own, lapsed into obscurity or put the whole thing behind them and gone off to other pursuits. It was a small news item last week that attracted little notice when a federal appeals court refused to allow one of Clinton's most virulent political enemies, former Georgia GOP Rep. Bob Barr, to bring a $30 million suit against the former president for allegedly conspiring to make public seamy allegations about Barr's personal life.

Long ago, Clinton styled himself the Comeback Kid. Like him or not, he still is."

How the hell did you get from "scandals don't need to be truthful to be scandals" to "there should be limits to freedom of speech?"

I'm pretty certain my three kids qualify me for having been broken-in! :D

I guess that's why I'm not overly-concerned about Clinton's sex-life.

What's your excuse??

I said that you &*^#& moron!!! Then you used some bizarre Shamanesque logic to say that what I meant by that statement was that there should be limits to freedom of speech. Are you this dense in person or just on the internet?

A reminder for you:
