I rediscovered Manic Street Preachers. I haven't listened to them in a year, they've been on my playlist, but the random never got to them. Odd... even odder was when my playlist, on random, played two Beatles' songs that were right next to each other in a row, and then John Lennon's Imagine.

I don't listen to them an awful lot, but I love the story of Richie Edwards. so sad, so tragic, but so fucking rock n roll. I'd love for him to be like Brain Slade from Velvet Goldmine and come back as some crappy popstar. maybe he already has......

Some newer acts I like are Mindy Smith and Casting Crowns.

Can't argue with Pachelbel, though.

Gotta admit, I'm really depressed that someone equates REO Speedwagon with "oldies".

they made yoshimi into a musical at my commie camp, and as much as i loved the album before, i love it even more now. people went around singing the songs they used for the rest of camp....they should do it on braodway.

Ew, country... I grew sick and tired of country from my mom playing it in the car a lot. Lyrics suck! Then again, Led Zeppelin's lyrics suck, but country doesn't have Jimmy Page on guitar :D
I like myself in the area of no matter who you are I can name a band you've never heard of before, hehe.

They have weird ass music videos... As long as everybody who went around singing actually could sing, he hits some really strange notes that I'm sure would sound like a dying cat if almost everybody else tried that.

What's so hardcore(or not, since it was sarcastic) about that? The Descendents are probably some of the geekiest punks in existance. However Rob Halford is the most hardcore gay man in existance! That was what I was listening to at the time, which is obviously better music than what you listen to. :D
