Apparently, John Kerry wants John McCain to be his VP candidate....

It doesn't look like McCain wants to be Kerry's VP, but the prospect is exciting to think about and would surely be a shoe-in to win the presidency. Too bad, it would be nice to have a some running mates worth voting for.

Oh well, this combination would probably get Kerry assassinated anyways...

Oh yea ... ex POW John McCain is going to stop being a very influential Senator to jump on Kerry's bandwagon? Let them exchange positions -- Kerry just might make a good VP -- as good as Al 'bore' Gore -- but that's about all.

McCain has already declined. Twice.

Nice one Trav. Or maybe it's the "liberals" who want to unit our country, not divide it, like you?

Kerry will probably go with Edwards and hope that will swing the 3 % he needs to over take Bush. But if he takes Dean I feel he will lose even though the polls say Dean will help him. Dean is known to self destruct and that would be bad for Kerry.
If I was Kerry I would look to Lieberman or a moderate Democrat or a McCain like Reublican.
For McCain to accept would be political suicide and he wont do that.

I haven't seen you do anything that I would consider especially uniting since you've been here.
