Do you have webspace?
If you don't have, look at lycos or something like that.
If you do, you have to upload it there, maybe by ftp.
Hope I could help you.

I think there should be a help page at freewebs.com, you should first look there, maybe you can uploud it with your browser without a ftp program.
edit: http://members.freewebs.com/faqs.jsp
Otherwise you can use smartftp from http://www.smartftp.com/
There you should enter your login name and something like that. You should also find that on freewebs.com
Hope I could help you.

Thanks a lot...I read the FAQ and they say they don't support FrontPage but I can use their FTP (which costs money). I won't do that anyway...I will find new webspace

I have a new question! How do I connect to the SmartFTP? What do I put in the address line?

You have to put in the ftp address.
If your provider let's you upload it via ftp it should be written in the faq. :)

I see. Thanks again...I tryed freewebs and it didn't let me connet. I asked because I thought I did something wrong...but I guess Freewebs won't let me use outside FTP...they want me to use their own. Thanks again!

You can use their own too. But I think ftp is better.
I think I read something about activating the ftp access on freewebs.com. But I'm not really sure if that is for free.

But I know someone who used Frontpage and he also used freewebs, and I know for sure he didn't pay.

But are you sure that he is uploading his page via ftp? Maybe he is just using the browser upload or something like that.

You can't use a browser upload, especially with frontpage...the link buttons don't come out right...I already tried that

Do you have aim or something so we can chat there? It would make it a lot faster

ok, so I think you should look after a new webspace provider which allows ftp upload for free.

I don't really know what frontpage is.
What is so special about frontpage?

Frontpage is Microsoft's WYSIWYG editor. Basically, it makes websites using a GUI so you don't have to muck about with HTML.
Nothing's special about it. It sucks, in facts.

And what about that frontpage support, if it is just a normal editor? hmm...
So use another editor and find webspace with ftp support, that makes it easier, I think.

the thing is that, i found new webspace at www.freewebtown.com and they support frontpage but I don't know how to upload it. lol
I went into frontpage and hit the publish button and it asked me for my publish destination... so I typed it in freewebtown.com/dracromin then it asked me for my user name and password so I type that in but it won't let me log in

Sorry to rehash this post, but I didn't want others to think FrontPage isn't working at FreeWebTown.com.
Try it again and PM me or reply back to this thread if it's still not working for you. Sounds like you're doing it correctly.
Best of luck with your site!

Hello,
I've used FrontPage before and recently with Freewebtown and it works perfectly. There are rare times when it doesn't work, but for a free service, they stay pretty fairly on top of things there. I can't say from a perspective of using other free hosts, but the fact that they have built their own system and seem to maintain it pretty regularly - it's been a good free resource for my little site (http://www.freewebtown.com/Dikaa).
Also, Mike_FWT, if you're listening, I'd like to PM you if you don't mind me asking about a question or two that I have.

Thanks for the compliments. It's not perfect, but we do try hard to make it work for everyone.

PM away! :)
Anyone else with a question?
