Looks like the state department is revising it's figures about reduced terror attacks from anfrom a april 29th report (http://www.state.gov/s/ct/rls/pgtrpt/2003/31569pf.htm) . turns out we might be experiencing the the highest levels of terror attacks in 20 years. I read that earlier today as well. What interests me is what terrorist attacks were left out of the original report. It would be interesting to see if they change the criterea for the report this year excluding some terrorist attacks. I am not certain though that Waxman's claim that this was deliberately manipulated by the Bush administration is true. Instead of restating they would have stonewalled any attempts to change the numbers...or atleast that is what I would have expected them to do. What I am sure of is groups likve moveon.org and DU will be all over this in their latest attacks on Bush.

That's a low blow. Even though I despise Bush, he shouldn't be responsible for terrorist attacks
