Very much interested in it. The games are on TV here but cost $20 each on pay per view!

I watched England vs France yesterday - great game, although England snatched defeat from the jaws of victory - conceeding 2 goals in the last 3 mins - very shocking. Now England have to win the next 2 games to get thru to the knowckout rounds.

Euro2004 is not very well known or publicised in the US - but of course in Europe it is HUGE.

The US is content with its advertising filled boring games like baseball (what a crap game that is!) & football where the players play about 20 mins a season each and are so well protected its funny.

Soccer only became big in the US because of how well we did in FIFA 2002. Every once in a while I'll catch a Major League Soccer game here and there...pretty interesting.

I really can't stand all the maneuverings that make up the majority of the game. The field is too big also. It's almost as if you know you are not likely to see a highlight play in a 10 minute's sitting. On the other hand, in basketball, every time a team comes down the court there is a chance there will be a highlight, since scoring occurs more often, the same way with tennis, everytime a serve goes you know highlight might be coming up. So for stuff like soccer or golf I'd only watch highlights on sports center--save a lot of time.

yes i am
i played travel soccer since i was 7 and started premeir ship U-11s i got very good but i over played it and got sick of it and i now play more lacross. i literaly used to have a practice or game every day of the week, and it got really gruling. and the coaches were too hardcore. having stoped really took a lot of weight off my shoulders.

i still love to play (a little) soccer and i follow the english premeir league...go arsenal

that is really hard. we don't have to pay any money, because every match is shown on public tv stations.

Arsenal is good, but I do like Manchester and Chelsea.

Today is the great game between germany and the netherlands. I hope germany is going to win this match. but it will be hard.

guys i am only watching football and sometimes basketball.

i can't watch any other sports.

everyone here in europe is watching the euro 2004 competition.

i cannot imagine my life without football. i really mean it. i am playing in a greek team since i was 7 year old.

there are too many differences between us.

i think football is the king of all sports. its a way of life.

on friday greece will face france and 11 million greeks will watch the match. and if we beat them everyone will celebrate on roads, the hole night. the winner will be qualified in the semi final.

of course we dont pay anything to see the match. the us tv system is absolutely different.

here in greece noone plays baseball. there are no teams. and i really want to watch a game just to see how it looks like. i will see some matches on the olympic games.

I saw every game, EURO 2004, I was hoping it would be France and Portugal but seems the French just let it slip away from their fingers...Can you believe Greece WON??? I can't. And it was at Portugal's house...it was a miserable win for the Greeks...I did not enjoy the game at all...anybody elses thoughts?
