yes the bastards shut it down. try grokster instead. it's kind of crappy, but so far it's the only thing i could find.

i've been using WinMX for about a year. its a nice application. it is a little shakey at times but it allows you to download any type of file. just be careful though. some jackasses out there like to put viruses on their files. if your using a phone modem though it will probably be slower than audiogalaxy was. but at least there isn't any spy ware attached to it. at least none that i have found.

i am using audiogalaxy up to this time. Compared to their older version, you could find fewer songs now, unlike before. But still its easy to use and could still find a lot of music.

spyware is this stuff where they can get inside your computer, see what websites you visit, observe your pc habits, then target you with popups and spam mail.

I believe kazaa is the best peer to peer application. www.kazaa.com , does have quite a few agrivating ads but all file sharing things have that I believe, itleast ones that work decent.
