Life doesn't have a meaning or purpose. Your question isn't really making sense to me.

The meaning of life? To live.

I don't get the question, I guess.

Depends, if your a Christian then its leading as many lost souls to Christ as possible before its to late. If your an athiest then... well... then there is no meaning to life, u just die and cease to exist. Pretty bleak if u ask me.

Are you asking, what is the purpose of your life?

The only answer I have is:

Think of that which you hate most in this world-
Then stand against it and try to make a change.

Hate dan? A life ruled by hate? Sounds rather bleak. How about a life ruled by love? Defend what you love the most.

That means that Athiests have just as valid reasons to be alive as Christians, and to toss those reasons aside as invalid is stupid and a slap in the face to the group as a whole.

O.K. Blib, I will amend the statement to dislike for the sensative types.
Examples of dislikes could be:
child abuse, spousal abuse, rapists, crooked politicians, the list could go on and on.
I believe everyone has some one thing they dislike most. Stand against it and try to make a change. This is truly a purpose.

To defend that which you love you must be prepared to stand against that which you dislike.

This thread makes my head hurt. I choose to not even think of it. Who cares what the meaning is? Just live to the best of your ability and I'm sure you'll find out someday.

Regardless of how true and honest your cause is, it's still for hate. It turns into a life of cynism and distrust. It's difficult to fight against something you hate without turning into something else you hate. Hate is an immature motive.

To defend that which you love you must be prepared to stand against that which you dislike.
Exactly, but it is in a different name. You will be defending, not on the aggressive offensive. It is a lot easier to fight in defense without turning into something you hate. Love is a far better cause than hate.
"Let me say, at the risk of seeming ridiculous, that the true revolutionary is guided by great feelings of love."
Che Guevara

And to throw in some humour. It's why I always liked Spiderman more than the other superheros, not only because he's not a super invincible being. But because his cause is different. His uncle died because of his carelessness. He turned not to fight against it, he didn't go out for revenge, but to defend the others that he loved. Unlike Batman, who has countless times done many things he despised, and allowed far more people to fall from his grasp. Also like the Punisher, who continues to lose more of himself everyday. Superman is exempt because he just flat out sucks ass.

I don't know about the meaning of life, but the purpose of life is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.:)

Blib, thank you for your response.
I believe we are on the same page, only using different terminology. The main message, for purpose, is not to merely sit upon one's arse and be benign but to become active in positive change.
Too many are content to sit upon the couch and complain of the injustices of the world yet make no attempt to help remedy the situation. Focus with action for positive change gives a purpose and contentment to one's life experience.
I say these things because I hear so many people say they are bored with life and see no reason to exist. Many people today seem to be lost, without a feeling of purpose.
Even here, on this forum, to share ideas and exchange opinions is a positive event.

Yes, I like Spider Man too. :)

Spider Man is an idiot, Super Man is kool :D How silly is it to have a man shot spider webs from his arse. Atleast Super Man is real, he came from another planet where the gravity was higher. His vission was better just like some here on earth, he was just more extreme. :D :D :D

Hate and love are in the same relm. If you hate to see someone you love on drugs you try to change their outlook. You have to hate something in order to love another, ying and yang, love and hate, good and bad. Without one the other will not exist.

To me the purpose of life is to live it so that by the time you die you have spent most of it being happy, ie. doing stuff you enjoyed doing, always seeking to understand things or gain knowledge, to know yourself better and to become wiser, succeed in things that will lead to happiness (such as earn enough money to buy what you very much want, working toward excellence in some discipline you truly love, or marry your dream girl/guy).

I think it's important to be able to enjoy life most of the time. Instead of setting a goal where if you achieve it you will be happy but on the way working towards it you live in hell for a long time. And this requires a lot of wisdom, self-understanding, perception of the world, and knowledge.

In short. Meaning of life: to learn. and try to be happy.

I think the meaning of life is to give your life meaning...to be the best person you can be and be missed when you're gone.

If there's no meaning in life, find a meaning. And I sure hope your meaning of life is to worship god.(why lower yourself like that?)
