So where is the world rage that the Palestinians are holding the parts of Israeli soldiers as bargaining chips?

Tuesday's blast in the Zeitoun area killed six Israeli soldiers and scattered remains of Israeli bodies across a wide radius, and Palestinian militants displayed some remains in the street. Wednesday's blast killed five soldiers and defiant militants said there would be no release of remains until Israel pulled its troops out of Gaza City.

The world is so screwed up B_V, it's pretty damn hard to get worked up over every f'd up thing that goes on. Especially when they're outside of your sphere of influence. Can't people criticize the handling of the Iraqi prisoners without running down a huge list and expressing disgust at every injustice that has occurred in the world in the last year?

Why is it that an American can't screw up without being drug across the world stage?
And yes the world is screwed and that is more reason to get worked up. If we just accept that it is screwed and it will remain that way then we are doomed.

All I have said about the prisoner scandal is that wait for all the evidence before you judge and it is not ok to behead a non-combatant. Nor is it ok to hold the remains of ANYONE as a way to get what you want.
Did you forget that we not only provided medical aid to the Iraqis we fought but also treated their dead with respect.
Emphasize the bad but trumpet the good as well.

The reason is, is that America makes itself the “police” and “leader” of the world. When we put ourselves out there, in the world, as that role, anything we do will be examined and critiqued. So whatever we do wrong, will be blown up and sometimes wrongfully so.

Liberal I understand now that I know your age, it is hard to convince someone who hasnt lived that things are never black and white but more like 256 shades of gray.

Use a history book and encyclopedia or go to www.beirut-memorial.org to start with. then work backwards till you get to at least the Shah of Iran and see how we have been treated by the terror groups. They make up excuses to kill, the prison abuse meant nothing to those cowards, I will stake my life on it.

And yes check out the 2000 primaries for Kerry.

Maybe this is where age makes a difference, I never said that, I said killing a non-combatant is never acceptable.
The point I am trying to make is that you need to know how terrorist operate to understand that if they come through here and read these posts that they will exploit the views of those saying that they aren't responsible. Then they will kidnap others and wait until the media breaks another story, maybe this time a soldier will have killed a civilian by mistake and then another will be executed in the name of God.

That is why some people want a unified voice to condemn the actions of the terrorist. If the world is unified against them then they lose their power to kill.

The reason there is no rage from Palestinians holding body parts from the Israelis as bargaining chips is because there is nothing to be gained by it. The news organizations certainly do not deem it news worthy and there is other things to cover like blaming Americans or Israel. But I wonder how swift and brutal the reaction would be if it were the Israelis withholding body parts from the Palestinians. Now that would be news worthy because you could jump all over Israel and get to blame the US at the same time. Because, afterall, we sanction everything Israel does.

Well put Republican, the U.N. is attempting to make us stay neutral in that fight. But that would go against the U.N.'s own promise when the land was given to the Israelis. But we all know the U.N. knows all and they are impartial. snicker, snicker
