We do not know the full story on the abuse? As the pictures are drawn out Americans like to jump to condemn those soliders who not even had the benfit of a miltary fair trial .

Alot of people in this forum are showing guilty remarks to the soilders until they are proven innocent, why are you guys doing this? We need to know all the facts before drawing your conclusions. We are over there doing a building excerise, and it is hard and not easy. God Bless our troops and keep up the good work guys, I will see you "Dennis King", my bro when you get home.

The photos speak for themselves. There is for sure (some persons) guilty of inappropriat actions.

The photos, in no way, reflect that we do not have numerous troops that are doing a magnificent job. My hat is off to those that can risk their life on a daily basis in bad conditions a long way from home and still maintain self respect and control.

An un-named Marine summed up a lot, in a statement to Reporter Karl Penhaul, when he said "The worst thing about dying is that it starts out a normal day. Then its all over."

Yes some troops will be trialed in a good manner and some may be found guilty. Put lets stay on the subject that they are innocent before proven guilty. And if a troop ifs found guilty may the system punish him or her in a good manner. You will not see one troop go to prison, but he or she will get stripped and discharged from the miltary, which I think is very appropriate.

I sure as hell hope they do get sent to prison, if they are found guilty. That's torture, which isn't just a court-martial-able offense, but a criminal one as well.

As for innocent until proven guilty, that's for the courts to decide. There is no doubt in my mind that they are guilty; I've seen the pictures, but also, they do deserve a fair trial. But I'm certainly free to form my own opinions, and my opinion is they're 100% guilty.

obviosuly, they deserve a fair trial, but unfortunately for them, thosep ictures do not owkr in their favor. if they are found guilty they deserve far more than a discharge from the military, they deserve to go to jail.

I think the point is bigboy that someone is guilty, even if it turns out not to be the soldiers in the pictures.

Picture this, A photo shows a man standing over another man, the man on the floor is bleeding from an apparent shot to the head. The man standing has a gun in his hand, he holds it in his right hand index finger on the trigger. A closer look at the man with the gun shows an almost calm look on his face.

From this description could anyone convict the man with the gun?
The same must hold true for the soldiers in the pictures.
