Maybe he needs to get George Bush's newspaper-translator to explain T.V.-news to him!!! (http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/01/20/sprj.nirq.abuse/) :@@:

Shaman,
WTF are you talking about. Rummy even said today before the senate how he said there were investigations going on back in January.

I thought Rummy did a fairly good job today in his testimony.
On balance though - he should resign. The message that would send is far bigger than any requirement to shield his career or Bush's for that matter.
I thought Rumsfeld did a good job in the hearings today.
Being neither Democrat or Republican I can call it as I see it.
I am sure the Democrats would like to see him resign.
Understand that to the Arab world this would be a sign of weakness of the authoritive figures in America.
Also, the other Arab republics in the area control their Media.
No good picture of any of America's actions on this situation will be broadcast as such to the Arabs in other countries. They cannot, For they must keep attention and anger focused on America and away from their own non-democratic rulers. If democracy works in Iraq, numerous empires will fall from within.
This is really the force we fight in Iraq.
These are the powers that feed terrorism.

Congress passed an emergency law Thursday that clearly states congress *CANNOT* investigate the Iraq abuse issue. It must be investigated by the pentagon. BWAhahahahah
the pentagon will investigate itself.
Defend that wingers.

He probably should, but I suspect that since the Dems have demanded his resignation Bush won't ask for it in order to avoid looking like he caved to their demands.

Aparently Iraqi's were glued to their TV sets for Rummies 6 hours of testimony.
I wonder how they view it - it might well be positive for them to see a democracy in action. At the highest levels there is major attention to abuses of the prisoners, while there is nothing but cheers in the streets when they hang Americans from a bridge cooked to a cinder.

I've heard several people say the reason for the prisoner abuse was payback for hanging our people on that bridge.
One problem with that statement -- according to what we now know -- the abuse started long before they did that atrocity to our people.
They better stick with the 'high school pranks', 'college hazing', 'aberration' and 'no worse than brittany spears' analogies. Better yet -- blame it on the Dixie Chicks. LMAO.
