Not republicans, and not democrats.

They are looking for something new.

Both major parties have seen a decline in their numbers for a number of years now.

I am an independant conservative. I could care less about the partys. of course when you only ahve 2 choices it kind of limits you. Its still better than having to many choices though.

I've never voted a straight party ticket in my life. I've never understood slavish devotion to one party.

I wont vote democrat, if there is no one I like I will just leave that part blank. pre-200 election I would have voted for a democrat, but after that sickening display an attempted hijacking of the election demcrats sicken me

It is interesting that you say that pepper, not that I am doubting your post. It just seems that this country has become very partisan and that there is really only two sides, left or right. If what you say is indeed true that is a very silent majority.

Well yeah they are. It isn't as divided as you would think. Only 51.3% of the voting populous participated in the 2000 elections, only 40% + in the 2002 elections. That is a very small minority who is deciding our country.

Binary thinking is the wrong way to approach our political identities. You call yourself a republican but is that an east coast republican or a west coast? North democrat or south democrat? In my own experience region alone can offer differences in what many would say is the same party.

I think us Americans are getting the leadership we deserve.
We are in a position with other countries we deserve.
Our economy is where we deserve it to be.
I am sure it will get much worse and we deserve it.
Nothing will change until a people band together for a positive change.
