A few posts ago "Cool hand Luke" was mentioned and was unheard of by someone. This got me to thinking of classic movies. I think I'll go looking for that on DVD.

I've like the spaghetti westerns of Clint Eastwood, Hang'em High, Two mules for Sister Sara, and the Outlaw Josy Wales. Clint tried this style of filmmaking in recent years, but I don't think it really caught on.

How about "Escape from Alcatraz" A great cliffhanger, did he make it out alive? We may never know.

I really like sports movies more than the sports themselves. Here's a classic, Slapshot. The Hanson brothers.....whoo hoo, let's fight! :hitout: Alot newer would be Necessary Roughness, but I don't know if that is nearly old enough for classic, just a great movie.

Of course I like the movies from which my post name comes from. Bond. James Bond. All of them really, the first ones included.

The ORIGINAL Blues Brothers is one of my all time favorites. The sequels should never have happened, simply trying to wring a little more money out of something great.

Anyone like any of the Elvis movies? Viva Las Vegas or G.I. Blues? 50 million Elvis fans can't be wrong!

The semester is nearly over at the university and I am looking for something to watch over break before summer classes start. What are some of yours favorite classics? ;)

The Great Escape is a good one. Any Marx Brothers movie. Hitchcock is always good.
