Fucking Rays! Fucking, fucking Rays!! We had the game in the bag, Gonzalez (the starter) had a SUPERB game (2 runs in 7 innings) despite having a 9.39 ERA previously this year. There were four or five equally SUPERB defensive plays by the Rays today, and the Rays played like winners. Then the fucking BULLPEN, which has been extremely effective this year, blows a 5-2 lead in 2 innings! This was the most frustrating game in recent memory. Hope the Sox fans are happy, because I sure as hell am not.

Four pitchers in the 9th. Three runs. Damn you, bullpen!!!

Borg, you pose an extemely good question. I'm not trying to assist in highjacking your thread, you and I have posted at length when I first joined and I enjoyed the exchange. Perhaps this may enlighten certain individuals.

It is my belief that TheAuthenticFan may need the ritalin, seems to not be able to stay on the subject. Additionally, of his 206 posts, most of the them are in reply to his original posts and no one else is answering his posts. In effect, he is talking to himself. Could it be these are the classic needs which Ritalin might well address?

It's kind of sad to see three posts in a thread, by the author, and no others. If no one is interested in replying to a post, have the courtesy to let it die a respectable death.

As to Borg's original subject, I do know how you feel. Earlier in the season the Cardinals blew a fantastic lead quickly. If memory serves correctly it was a larger lead than your Rays lost. It was suddenly like watching batting practice for the other team. You could have put up a turnstyle to count the runs. :(

I've been seeing the Cub's blow it, be cursed out if it, ripped off.....for so long.

Although I love it with ever thing in me, Baseball is a very evil sport. But its still the greatest (non tennis) sport there is.

Ouch. I feel sorry for you. ;)

Our bullpen is fair....Our starting 5 is the best in baseball....we have awsome fielders....some of the best bats in major leauge baseball, two for sure hall of famers, 3 or 4 maybes, and we still find ways of losing.
