Hey what's a movie/TV forum with out at least one Star Trek thread?

Well anyway who else out there gets into Enterprise? I personally think it's an awesome show. Then again anything that's Star Trek is awesome. :-)

I like the old stuff, and some of the New Generation, but I have not seen the new series.....

Voyager was off the hook tho..

Wow this is like Dejavu, that's what the other board I posted at said. Yeah Voyager was a wicked series. It's my opinion they shouldn't have sped things up and just did the show for another 30 years. :-)

Did they ever get home...I never got the chance to see the last show.

I wish I could answer that Computer Guy, but I moved to New York just before the series ended.. To add insult to injury the cable system out there didn't cary UPN. So I never did find that out.

I would like to say that ALL THE STAR TREK SERIES RULED!!!!

Ok chris, and phoenix......Voyager did get home. THe final episode showed them at home and everyone was celebrating, but they were celebrating like the 20th anniversary, or something. It took a total of 16 years (that sounds right) for them to get home, and within that time a number of Voyager's crew had died. So, Captain Janeway went back in time, and brought with her some technology from the future. So, after she went back in time, Voyager integrated some of this technology with its system, and destroyed a borg trans-warp conduit, after they used it to get themselves home half the time it originally took them.

thats basically it.

YES. Enterprise is, so far, one of the best Trek shows EVER. Next week = Klingons = nerd euphoria. And, in my opinion:

TNG = Enterprise > DS9 > When Large Kitchen Appliances Attack 3 > Voyager (god I hate Voyager). Not including the original show on there, since it's vastly different then any of the new ones, and I think a comparison is kind of unfair.

I just watched Enterprise tonight. It was better than I thought it was going to be. Actually Dr. Flox is my least favorite character, but they did a pretty good show with him I think.

As for comparring Enterprise to Voyager.. Well I think the only thing comparable between the two are the fact that they are both from the Star Trek series. Beyond that, they are respectivly very different.

I wonder if they'll ever turn out a series based on the Klingon empire. That would be cool. :-)

I have that episode on video.. It's real good, they have this new "armor" technology. When the captain says engage armor, her shuttle craft didn't even shake while being attacked by 2 klingon battle cruisers.... Pretty neat episode..[img:6ed2163f81]http://www.startrek.com/content/PHOTO/voy/272pic10.jpg[/img:6ed2163f81]

I like Enterprise, but its my least favorite series, I like the real "futuristic" shows with tons of cool technology, I wanted to see a series with time travel, etc.. Not go back in time!

i thought voyager was a great series, the doctor, was awesome. enterprise is pretty good, but i miss all the old actors from voyager and next generation and stuff. i dunno about enterprise tho, its kinda turnin into the same sort of thing over and over, they meet a new type of species, they're interested, the species turns hostile, and they work their way through it. it gets a lil old after a while.

Good Gord, this series just doesn't let up. After last nights episode, I must note 2 things: 1.) You have to love that continuity. The fact that something can happen in one episode, and then people are talking about it 6 episodes down the line...I really don't remember that happening in Voyager much. 2.) This has got to be THE BEST directed and shot Star Trek series ever. I think one of the things that I never liked about Voyager was that it seem kind of lacklusterly done in the respect.....but with Enterprise, great attention seems to be giving to how the show is shot. Plus, there's that sweet, sweet widesceen...........

Actually I've seen the same thing in STNG. Especially in episodes that involve Data and Lore.. And of course what about Q that always popped up and reminded the capt about things that have happened? I wonder if Q will ever show up on Enterprise.. That's an interesting thought. :) Voyager was a bit more lineir in it's stories.. It was rare if something happened in a episode and it come back later.. It's happened, just not as often as the other series.

I feel the directors are doing a great job with Enterprise, the storys have been great and the actors are top notch. I have noticed that it seems that Capt. Archer and Tpol seem to have a atraction to each other. Even if Tpol is a heartless non emotional Vulcan, somehow you just get that feeling that she's got something on the Capt.. I also noticed the capt has a starring problem when she's around. Anyone else notice this too? ;)

Yeah that's what I said last wednesday.. Then I missed it on Saturday too.. DOH! Now yesterday I tried to enjoy it but I couldn't because it was too noisy. Hopfully I can catch it this weekend. Wednesday's episode did look really good!
