Pat Tillman was a true American Hero, a true patriot. He gave up millions of dollars and fame as a pro football player to join the army to serve his country and wound up paying the ultimate price. Today he was killed in combat in Afghanistan. This man represents all that is good about this country, and we can only salute such selfless service to ones country. A man willing to give up everything sought after in this country for a chance to serve it is something very special, and will not be seen again for some time. I salute Pat Tillman, and will hold him up as a model of selfless service and patriotism for myself and my children to follow. He will be remembered among the great patriots of this country. All soldiers who serve and die are special, but Pat Tillman represents the essence of honor and duty to ones country.
