My favorite thriller would probably be THUNDERHEAD by Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child. I'm not sure about S/F, there are so many. Fantasy might be Lord of the Rings. Mystery would probably be something by Agatha Christie, or maybe Sue Grafton. I'm not sure about the others.
