I wish they would bring back Calvin and Hobbes. Calvin got knocked down by life, like John in the Garfield strips, and Charlie Brown in the Peanuts comics, but Calvin fought back! Also, there was real humor in that strip and an element of truth that truly makes comics funny.

While I'm on the subject, I wish Gary Larson would get The Far Side up and running again. I loved that cartoon. The Far Side DIDN'T involve guys in neckties, and stale, corny, cheesy, flat, crappy day-at-the-office humor! Dammit!!:mad:

ya know, someone on another board I go to posted this link to a website that some guy dedicated to his ingrown toenails. He kept an in depth journal documenting his procedures and how they got that way, his funguses and infections, accompanied by really gross pics.
He even had other people who shared their gross toe stories........

it was quite disturbing............
