I was walking on a street in New York with some very holy-moly folk.
They were top nobs in the NewAge, very nice people , but boring in their righteousness.
They carried with them a full accounterment of Newage symbols; the indian skirt with the miso stain, Shakti sandals, the whole nine yard.
we were talking about abundance and the new age .
As we chatted, a begger came up to me and rattled his tin cup under my nose.

i took 25 cents and thanked him.

The beggar, having been fliped into reverse, was stunned.
The holy - molies unraveled - from the miso stains outwards.

the whole incident was so bizarre that they and the begger had no idea what to make of it.

As we walked on, my companions complained that I was taking food from the mouths of the starving. I, in turn, explained that I had taken the quarter in order to show them that there is always another view.

I had chosen to see the begger not as a being in need, but rather as a businessman who could affirm his abundance by giving.
We took a table in a restaurant, and I placed the offending quarter on the centre of the table just to bug them.
Interestingly enough, when during dinner one of the molies had to make a phone call , he scooped up the beggars quarter without a moments hesitation and used it.



I think its important to flip oneself and others into the contrary view , for it opens the mind to many unusual possibilities.

Cute though not an uncommon scenario........my dad has something a little different and he does it allllll the time.......pretty funny but extremely embarrassing at the same time........imagine your walking down the street and a homeless guy sitting on cardboard raises his cupped hand for money and your dad stops and gives hime HIS hand for the money. Talk about a flipped out tableau, your dad and the homeless guy standing there with their hand out to each other and everyone's looking!!! God Dad, you are making a Scene. One time the freze ends with them shaking hands, but NOT always..........one time he got chased:rolleyes:
