Anybody want to take a shot at who will make the World Series and who will win it all?

I'll go out on a limb and predict that the New York Yankees will win the American League pennant.

In the National League I'm going to pick the Chicago Cubs.

I think the Yankees will take it in 7 games.

Cubbies over Phillies in NLCS, Detroit (the shockers this year) over Yanks in ALCS, Cubs over Detroit in 6.

Yankees will take the AL pennant.
Houston Astros will take the NL pennant.




Yankees will whup the Astros in 5 games making Andy Pettitte and Roger Clemons sorry they ever left NY in the first place.

Losing two prime pitchers will be too much for the Yanks even with A Rod...... I pick the BoSox in the American League ... Curt Schilling will be the difference .....

In the Nationals ... I love my Cubs ...

I think playoffs would be a bit much to expect for a Tigers rebound. But a showing relative to what they've done so far is still seriously impressive.
