This seems like a good place to talk and express one's ideas and I HOPE some negativity dies down. It sure would be nice if you could say something without a few people that are just stressed and don't have a life come and make you feel small.

Other boards have died because of negative people. You'll see if it don't stop good people will just fade away.

I don't beleive that I have seen anyone on this board be down right mean, unless provoked. Why don't you give them a chance?

I know I have a life and try to keep my stress to a minimum. I don't think anyone wants you to be small. There's a pretty solid bunch here, and a variety of view points too.

I think this is a great place for all different types of people to express their views. Some times debates may get a little heated but for the most part everyone here is pretty cool and respectful. If an argument does break out I think it's pretty funny. Remember it's all talk and you shouldn't get to worked up about it.

Well, we can't expect everyone to be respectful, now can we? There are a couple here that's downright mean. I don't care what they say, they could never make me feel small. I just consider the source and move on. ;)

Thanks for the feedback. I think strong debate often leads to strong opinions being expressed - sometimes heated - but at the end of the day I think there is always some common ground in some area however small between everybody - even if for the most part views between different people can be very diverse.

Hopefully when people new join the board they are not made to feel unwelcome, of course they may be challenged strongly on their views - there is no 'grace period' on that. I am sure people have been upset at times and then did leave. In that case AllForums was not for them and that's fine.

If the board dies then it dies, there is no master plan for AllForums - it's just a fun place to discuss a lot of topics - it'll be here as long as people want it to be here and if not then it's not the end of the world.

I have been on several of these (I know insert LOSER here) and this is the most tame one I've found. I was maliciously attacked for my views on The Passion that even though I have not visited the site in several weeks, they are still slamming me.

SO! Glad to be here. If not just to hear what Trav has to say. (small crush)
