Chinese By force Shut Down Web Sites Beyond the Border--and Delete Million of Posts Everyday

On March 11, a reporter right protection organization headquarter located in Paris, France declared that, the Chinese authority has already blocked the Chinese websites of Wall Stree Journal and "sound of" the German.

This organization named Reporters Without Borders said in a statement that these two web sites have been blocked since March 5 of this year. Besides, in the early of February 27, an online forum in Mongolia Province of China has been blocked by force also.

This organization said that, "we notice, through to the western main media blockade, the Chinese leadership further is strengthening the control to internet.¡¨ It pointed out the host of that Mongolia forum is a student. Under Chinese Ministry of Public Security's request, the internet service provice of the forum shut down this forum site on February 27; the reason was some members of the furum posted some articles which "violated the national law".

This organization also states this web site was built in 2002. Before the blockade, it was one of the most welcome web site in Mongolia Province. The primary intention is propagandizes the Mongolian culture and the history, certainly does not involve "sensitive" the politics and the religious question.

The Chinese authority use advanced network technology to intercepts internet users¡¦ email, and carries on to the on-line news filters, thus achieves to the goal of Internet monitoring. Through this method, hundred and thousand of homepages within the boundaries of China, including " Reporters Without Borders " are all blocked.
