I never come here to sports, but I was curious to see if there were any convos going on about this.......

I grew up in a hockey town in a hockey family and went to about 15 years worth of my little hockey brother's games and still I know dick all about hockey........yet even I have an opinion on what this guy did.............Why should sport be above law? I think he will be severely punished for sucker punching that guy, bad beef or not....

I personally think that Bertozzi deserves to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Those crocodile tears he shed do not fool me in the least. The only thing he is sorry for is that his actions went further than what he intended. He tried to hurt the man, plain and simple.

I know he did not try to break the guys neck, but it happened as a direct result of his attack on Moore. Its just a shame it didnt happen to Michael Moore (a.k.a. fat bastard). If they can convict McSorely on his actions against Donald Brasheir then Bertozzi should be convicted also. I think the NHL should not let Bertozzi play again until Moore is healthy at the least. I love to see them fight, but a chicken shit hit from behind like that has no room in hockey.
