This is not about conspiracy theories. It's about reasonable suspicion when people in government refuse to divulge information and refuse to testify under oath before a Commission.

Imaging what would have happened if Clinton or Gore had done what Bush and Cheney are pulling. The media refuses to disclose that hat both Bush and Cheney have refused to testify before the 9/11 Commission as a whole...and will answer questions in front of the Chairman ONLY - and then, only for ONE HOUR! Condy Rice has refused to testify under oath and will not testify publicly, - only behind closed doors. When else in history would this have been tolerated? Never, ever, ever!

If you want to understand what's being hidden, understand the questions that have been raised. They are reasonable. They are disturbing, and they will be forever hidden from us. So, what else is new?

Well as the chairman of the 9/11 commission said on CNN this morning he's very grateful for the presidents help and all the help the administration has provided.
He's particularly pleased about bush's testifying as only one other president has ever testified before any such comission. INcluding LBJ before the assasination comission.

Let them testify in a closed session only in front of properly cleared people that have the right to know. Oh, that's right, they refused to do that to. Wasn't their answer something like 'we don't testify'?

LMAO at these clowns. Back to the original question -- what do they have to hide --

short answer: lots --

long answer: lots and lots. Israel, Saudi Arabia, PNAC, Haliburton, Energy meetings, Baxter, Wellstone, Carnahan, Arnold, Riordan, Kenny-boy, goat stories while buildings burn, standing down the air force on 9-11, pretzels, duct tape .... the list is endless.

Refuses to disclose? I read that in yesterday's paper. You like getting yourself all worked up, don't you?

Waldo seems to have a comprehension deficiency. I explicitly said ... and I type it slowly so you will have time to digest it ...

in front of properly cleared people with the right to know ...

which means only the ones that are cleared for whatever part of the testimony is classified and sensitive to national security. All excuses would then be removed from bush (or anyone) testifying for whatever length of time it took to resolve things.

Testifying in front of a committee carte blanche is an entirely different thing there waldo the deficient.

Looks like we have our own John Kerry in the forum. He too likes it both ways.

In the first sentence he saysLet them testify in a closed session only in front of properly cleared people that have the right to know. and admonishes me for my comprehension abilities.

Yet in the very next sentence he saysOh, that's right, they refused to do that too

advocating that bush testify buy mocking him for not doing so.

Well quite clearly bush is testifying, and before people who are qualified to evaluate to boot.

so why the whining? girdle on too tight? or is it the natural state of affairs in angryland.

Whoa Waldo dude -- you started the trash mouthing with "This guy seems to have a reading deficieny" in your post. Don't try and spin the bad guy guilt trip my way. Treat me with respect and I'll return the favor.

Bush has offered an hour of his precious time to testify in front of what? 2 of his hand-picked friends on the committee behind closed doors? LMAO. Sure thing, we're gonna get lots of good info on this one. They probably already worked out the details on the golf course. ROTF.

Then again, he is busy campaigning on the tax payers dollars and we wouldn't want to take any of that time away from him.

Tom McKean, chairman of the committee and former Democratic governor of NJ is a friend?

Lee Hamilton, Democrat, served as chairman and ranking member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs (now the Committee on International Relations), chaired the Subcommittee on Europe and the Middle East from the early 1970s until 1993, the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and the Select Committee to Investigate Covert Arms Transactions with Iran, and vice-chair is a friend?

LMAO!

bush must know everybody in the world!
