I just finished watching the democratic debate on cnn. That was fun to watch, they were all trying to cut eachother off and get just one more word in.

All in all Kerry gave the best presentation, but my opinion of Al Sharpton jumped after he adressed some of the issues. Kucinich has got to be the worst candidate I have seen in years. Not only would his actions with Iraq leave them in chaos, but he would clamp down on trade as well and outright abolish the WTO. He really only has those two issues. Clark did a fine job but he's just an ever so slightly less qualified candidate to Kerry. Overall my prediction is that Kerry is getting elected president with Clark as vice.

Any other thoughts on the debate? and is anyone rooting for someone besides Kerry?

I watched it Wind and was somewhat disappointed in the format which could never be called a 'debate' I.E. LK asked Kerry if he regretted voting for the IWR. That is a personal question which has no place in a so-called debate.

overall, it looked like 3 wingers trying to get Edward, Kucinich and Sharpton to accuse Kerry of waffling on his issues.

Yeah kerry came off as the best with edwards 2nd and sharpton was there for the entertainment value. Kucinich will never be taken as a serious candidate (by the gop owned media) due to wanting a 'single-payer' health care system -- republicans will never allow the masses to have workable health care which, BTW, we will all find out if we get 4 more years of this current crop of hustlers.

GOP owned media, LMAO. you are a freaking nut case if you think katie couric and her ilk are owned by George Bush. of course you are so far left katie couric probably comes across as very conservative. something like 80% of media are democrats, so unless you are saying democratic principles are weak and are easily bought, then you are just plain wrong, again.

Trav

You better do your homework on that last post regarding the media and 'being mostly democrats'. Ever hear of Murdoch, Ailes, Rev Moon, GE, Disney ? they are the power-brokers of the media and all of them are 100% republican and donate huge amounts of money to the gop.

And if you're gonna tell me I'm wrong -- then tell me who does own the media other than the ones I mentioned and to which party they donate and how much face-time they give each party.

it doesnt matter who owns it when the idiot talking heads are all democrats who always bash bush yet never orget to mention kerry is a decorated war veteran. as long as that is making money the owners dont give a flying rats ass. do we really have to go over all the incidents of left wing media bias again? if you still dont believe it it is becasue you choose not to. damn dop you are very dense.

Hey Trav

ABC (a Disney channel I think) just announced they will be editing out anything anti-bush which is said by Alec Baldwin, Sean Penn or Tim Robbins during the academy awards.

LMAO and you're telling me the media is dem controlled?

Curioualy, they do admit, it is censorship -- pure and simple.

Welcome to Nazi Germany.

It's on yahoo right now -- read it and weap (for your country).

Do you watch the forums on TV? They usually consist of 4 liberals and 1 moderate conservetive.

Question to liberal pack: How does your party plan to help the economy?

Question to the conservetive: How do you explain your party's decimation of the economy, the loss of jobs, and plumeting value of the dollar?

dop, I didnt know the oscar awards was government run? anytime anyone cant spout off stupid crap about the prez, you scream 1st ammendment and start sniveling. the company that runs the oscars doesnt even have to let the jackass actors on the show, much less speak. they are running an awards show, not a platform for idiot liberals to spout off their half baked accusations about the president. although, I always did like it when some idiot like sean penn starts going off like he is some foreign relations expert.
