If I want to watch a fighting sport where the fighters are truly trying to beat up each other with all their might, what would be a good one to watch?

In my opinion, by the way, boxing and professional wrestling are very boring to watch.

Do you consider Ultimate Fighting Championship a sport? I enjoy that and it isn't boring at all. By the way, first time poster.

Welcome to AllForums cameltoe.

If you're lucky, a good hockey rivalry is all you need.

I don't know about that Ultimate Fighting stuff. It seems like it often comes down to freaky holds that threaten to break the opposition's limbs. But let me say this about Ultimate Fights: they start out really good, and it seems very possible for the fighters to actually hurt each other, unlike wrestling and boxing. It's much more exciting in that respect. Of course, you could take this thread and start talking about the ethicity of allowing athletes to partake in a sport where they could possibly ruin their lives...

sounds interesting, i think i'll check it out. concerning ethicity, i am going to be the hypocrite here and say that if i enjoyed watching it and its be deemed unethical, then i will not defend it but will continue to watch it anyway. ;)

dont people actually get hurt pretty badly in boxing? its just that watching it is boring somehow. i personally dont know how wrestling works, but on TV they are always like shows, not real fights. i will have to post a topic to ask people about wrestling.

Technically Ultimate Fighting Championchip is safer that boxing, and especially wrestling. I saw in the paper the other day that there has been over 50 deaths related to wrestling. (Not just in the ring) To my knowlege there has been no deaths related to UFC.
As far as limbs being broken, that usually doesn't happen. Most of those moves include hyperextenional techniqes and the opponent taps out before any real damage is done. It is a very controlled and regulated sport. Let me know if you get to check it out.

By the way, I am new to this message board thing, and a bit computer illiterate. Could someone explain to me how to get a picture by my name. Thanks in advance.
