There's a lot o' that, goin' AROUND!!!! (http://www.freep.com/news/politics/dems2_20040202.htm)

"Regardless of their passion for Kerry, Democrats have started to find unity in their passionate dislike for Bush, and they hunger for a champion to oppose him.

"We want to get it over with early, get a nominee and go beat Bush", said Dick Harpootlian, a veteran Democratic strategist in South Carolina."

Correct Mr Shaman.

The only thing dems have is their overwhelming hatred of Bush. They don't have ideas on how to make the country better. Heck, they don't any ideas at all. Except that Bush is bad of course.

ERRR! They have ideas, not many, but some. Bush has ideas on how to make this country worse.

Tax Cuts to boost economy;
Major failure. History is repeating itself, cuts failed in past leaving the country in even more of a debt. Now Bush wanted to try it. The country went from in the green to deep in the red.

Clean Air act;
In reality allows plants to lax on emission regulations

WMD was presented as a fact;
In reality it is a shaky unknown that is now being taken as a major fuck-up on the administration's part.

Invasion of Iraq;
Made under false pretenses. Current status of the country is still horrible and still under major reconstruction.

Invasion and readministration of Afganistan;
Invasion was successful, but current state of Afganistan leaves warlords vying for power.

If it were even true that there are no ideas from the dems I would gladly take that over Bush.
I am not a democrat, but I have noticed that the last few democrats in office have brought up the economy.
I am not a republican either, but I have also noticed that republicans are now becoming far more rightwinged as a whole with slightly more radical ideas as of late. Many of which are at the cost of our economy.

tax cuts work. you give more money to the people who spend it, thats what makes th economy go, I dont see how in the hell you can possibly argue that by the government taking MORE of our money that we will be better off, please, exlpain. how is it better for the government to horde my money in their coffers and dole it out as they see fit better than it being in my pocket?

the invasion of iraq and afghanistan were good things that freed a whole hell of a lot of people from the shackles of a life of fear and oppression. Just becasue you dont like it doesnt mean its a failure. you can try to argue that they were better off under saddam and the taliban all you want, but you will sound like a fool, like that idiot Howard Dean.
