After assertions by the Bush administration and the recently resigned weapons investigator in Iraq David Kay, that the US intelligence agencies were to blame for the lax in accurate information regarding the amounts of chemical and biological arms that were in Iraq. A new probe by Congress says that CIA analyst did not shade their findings on these issues in order to placate to a hawkish administration. Does this and the fact that Iraq did previously have and use WMD on northern Iraqi Kurds justify the use of the doctrine of the unilateral pre-emptive strike?

Not at all. If this was handled in the same manner as a murder trial, then there would not be enough acceptible evidence to put a single person to death. Bush has declared war (actually, Bush never declared war on Iraq so that he would not have to answer to congress, Iraq was merely a skirmish) on a NATION with less evidence supporting the war than would be acceptible in putting ONE person to death.

If you are going to put one person to death, you'd better be damn sure your right about it. If your going to attack a nation and put thousands to death, you had better have no doubt in the world. Obviously there is quite a lot of doubt and for good reason. Bush fucked up royaly, there is no denying it now.

How would you feel about Bush if he put one civilian to death because of documents that suggested that he was a murderer when the supreme court thought there was not enough evidence? After the trial you find out that the person was innocent.
That would pull a lot of heartstrings. No one would support Bush over something like that, but this war... this war is thousands of times worse!

Being a little-more observant than most Dead-O-Heads, can hardly be considered smart.

It's not hard to shine, when your critics are white-trash idiots. :D
