My name is Chris, I just signed up here(just a moment ago) I will soon be the webmaster/owner of PlatinumGamers.com and it's forums(certain legal issuse are being taken against my host for fraud, so once that is settled and my money returned, I will register elsewhere(hopefully with the same domain)) But now that I've rambled on about my pathetic host, I will tell you about me. I am into computers, webdesign, bulletin boards, and other such things. You can call me a geek if you wish, but computers are my hobby:D

My name is Chris also. I am administrator at several forums. WebMafiaforums.com, Moneytec.com, dbforums.com, and here...I am a student, and owner of Web Definity, a hosting and designing company.
I am really honing my skills with php and learning all the wyas to do stuff on vBulletins, I really like VB software. I really dig eletronics all together, and how they work and such.
JWB or Jimmy as I call him, goes to the same place where we attain "education" from, thats a big laugh right there...LOL, and well I think thats about it....

Oh yeah, I don't take to nicely to eye jokes, Eye injury, not funny...

Webmafiaforums.com, I have been there a few times. Though find it to be a bit undesigned, more basic coloring than personal touches. Though Forum Customization is completely the choice of the administrator of the forum/s, I find it personally tasteful to add ones own personal touch to a forum, be it a specific color or a certain 'hack' that is implimented into the board, it adds more of an atmosphere to the guests that enter(rather than a default look of purple and grey...purlple being the 'turn away' color to me) But of course, it is completely the administrator's choice whether or not to alter the colors. As for vBulletin software, I also enjoy it, it is unlike anything and well worth the money spent on it(which actually I find cheap based on what it is capable of accomplishing) As far as Eye jokes are concerned, I am not the kind of person that jokes about injury, maybe the occasional injury related joke here and there, but nothing bad really.

Ohh and, I am also in a so called 'School' trying to learn something, but so far unsuccessful...

Funny you should mention the purple, WMF actually 2 styles, but due to an unfortunate dB error, we lost all of that, all members, posts etc...

But dont you worry, I have two designers working on a design for both AllForums and WMF, that is going to be amazing.

sounds as though you have great confidence in your designers, I personally like that, when someone has confidence in someone else that works on something. It makes for a better 'product', if you will, at the end. These forums look to have great potential behind them and two very capable administrators, I will be sure to notify some people of this forum so they will come and take a look

Hello my name is Wally and I just signed up for the new forums not much more than a hour ago, but this is my first posting in these forums.

Anyway I am yet another geek in that I love to work with computers, build them, and sometimes troubleshoot the beasts. I previously worked as a internet technician (I helped customers with dialup connections) and am currently in between jobs.

My interests are in making new friends, chatting, and computers and internet of course. :) Well anyway that's my 2¢ for the time being. I look forward to meeting everyone. Just a for warning, I beleive sarcasim makes the world go round, so don't ever take anything I say in a literal manner. Cheng-Jie, yea, i can't really beat that name, but the thing is that everyone calls me michael. one time, i went to this competition thingie and it was overnight, so the ppl who organized it arranged housing w/ppl that went to the church. they thought i was a boy, so they put me w/the guys on our team. it was kinda crazy. but it all worked out bc i just went to a different house w/the girls, but it was still a lil embaressing (i dunno if i spelled that right, i can never remember how to spell that word!)

I currently visit the 13. form of the Paulsen Gymnasium and this is my last year in school (I have already written the most important exams some weeks ago) and in a few months I'm going to get my "Abitur".

Most of my hobbies have something to do with my computer. I like surfing the web and visiting several forums such as www.boardclub.de , www.xp-board.de and -since yesterday- www.allforums.net.
