Im happy to announce that I'll be releasing a new tcp version of JB2 Chat! If you have seen the other post about JB2 Chat you know it's a nifty little program :) :).. I'm currently working on JB2 Chat SERVER and JB2 Chat Client. (JB2 Chat original was completed, JB2 Chat ghost project was scraped.)

The JB2 Chat server is specially designed to connect to the client software, where it uses a public/private key system of up to 16000+ bit key, meaning all mesages are secure for businesses that use it for their internal network. It also uses optional gZIP for fast file and text transfer.

The new version of JB2 chat is currently in alpha 1 and I've got a pretty good website design to go with it, which will be avialable soon at www.jb2chat.allforums.net .

I plan on selling the software for use with private networks, but the client version will probably be free. Hopefully we'll have a working version for allforums.net members within 2 months (Beta version should be ready in < 1 month)! Anyone interested in beta testing the software should reply here, if accepted you'll be given access to the private beta section of the forum, where you can download it and post bugs/problems/comments/etc.
