Some of you might have already heard it, but I thought it was interesting :) ..

Missing dollar:

3 people decided to split a hotel room for the cost of $30 ($10/person), they give their money to the bell boy who brings it to the front desk. The lady at the front desk realized he had overcharged him, the room was only suppose to be $25, so she gave $5 to the bell boy and told him to give it back to the renters... The bell figures he can't split the $5 evenly, so he'll just give back $1/each (meaning each person actually paid $9) to each of the three people and keep $2 for himself..

Therefore the three people paid $27 ($9*3) and the bell boy kept $2...

$27+$2=$29 .. Where is the missing dollar?!?

but he only gives 3 dollars back to the 3 people

thats 25+3=28

and the bellboy keeps 2

making it 30

there is no missing dollar
