Has anyone been watching the show "Newly Weds" on MTV with Jessica Simpson? I love that show. I know she can be a little air headed at times but I think we all can sometime or later.

I watch it everyonce in a while. If nothing else is on. She is a airhead but she is cute though, so that makes up for it

I've watched it a couple times. I'm still holding that Jessica Simpson was intentionally acting dump 50% of the time. Yeah. It was not terribly interesting to watch. If the 2~3 programs I was watching are all on commercial at the same time, I might watch this show for a couple minutes. There are many many worse shows out there.

I've heard nick and jessica are going to be doing some kind of variety show, like what the brady bunch cast did after their show was finished...

When they were on SNL they did exactly that. Maybe that's where the rumor got started.

Ok, my question is - who the hell are these people?
Where did they come from? I never heard of them until about a month or two ago when suddenly they were on every bloody talk show, variety show, late-night show, you name it. And now they've got their own "variety" special. Gag me.
The woman isn't much of a singer, but she's easy on the eye, so obviously she's someone everyone should go ga-ga over, right? And her wimpy but handsome husband? Perfect mindless nothings is what they are. Why would anyone want to spy on their pathetic interactions?
Gah! Britney and Christina and J-Lo and Jessica.... Aren't there any intelligent, non-bimbo-like, talented entertainers left?

They were both teeny-bopper pop stars, which is probably why you never heard of them. Anyway, I guess since they decided to marry each other, the geniuses at MTV decided they'd make an interesting TV show. And actually, it is a pretty interesting show.

I realy wonder why he married her. she's fine to stare at, but she
s such a ditz. and even if it's an act, how can you live with someone like that? every guy I ask says he wouldn't be able to marry her, even though they all think she's really hot. it's kind of a funny show, but mtv should stick to the osbournes. they're much funnier.

I couldn't be married to someone that dumb either - I'd go nuts. I think their show has been funnier than the Osbournes lately. When they focus too much on Jack and Kelly whining about being filthy rich and not having to work it gets really old. They need to focus more on Ozzy.

I haven't seen an awful lot of the new season, only a couple of minutes an episdoe or two. it seemed ok to me, but it does get annoying when those two whine. anywya, this season's gonna have jack in rehab, which should kinda screw with things.
