I am currentally trying to share a ms-dos program sussex (it is a holiday booking program) across a windows 98 peer to peer network i have tried the following so far:-

Mapping the data file, copying the program .exe file and pointing the new data file to the mapped drive.

Creating a short cut on the desktop and pointing the short cut to the original location on the other machine.

any other ideas?

Does the program have a seperate database file? Can you map to the database file inside the program or in configuration file?

When you mapped the drive, did you remember to set the permissions so that the whole network can view it?
