Recently we had a service interruption on Allforums, and it was pointed out by one of our long-time members that we should have some way to contact the members here in the event such an outage occurs again.

To this end, I have created a group on Google Groups. I've never done this before so bear with me, please. :)

Stop by if you can't get to Allforums, and let me know if you want to put your e-mail on a mailing list.

Whenever the site goes down I email Drew and let him know :) (Usually he gets it back up within a couple hours)

Just wondering, is AF part of the group in El Segundo that got hit by a hacker a couple of weeks ago? Heard they hacked not only the windows servers, but Apache as well and created a lot of hate and discontent

I still had two contacts and hoped they had two contacts who had two contacts. If things didn't work at alforums most of us probally would have met up somewhere some how.

I knew the server was there because something was telling us "Service Unavailable".

I just figure everything will show up eventually...knowing that the good ol' tech support is fixing the problem.
