For those that have, have you ever wondered (or noticed) how the skies seems to be just a tad bit bluer than the skies further inland?

for those that have taken notice, what is the reason for this?

Yep... SMOG is the word. Believe it or not, its actually better than it once was.

Thats it in a nutshell. All the garbage we generate gets blown inland and pollutes the other states. Thats why californians will live forever, and everyone else dies from every form (even some unknown, cause we just made it up) of cancer. Besides, we're already immune to the shit.

I found this as reason for blue sky on the coastline.
I have been to California and La does not have a bluer sky due to smog. My theory is the ocean reflection off the sky causes the sky to appear bluer but see the explantion under the elk.
