All eyes on AFN are are on MajiPirate's Titans, and LionelHutz's Packers. And due to popular demand, I will be recapping the playoffs as long as these two teams are in it. Let's recap their performances from this weekend...

The Titans kept the game close while playing against the Baltimore Ravens, but a last minute field goal by Gary Andersen for the Titans gave them the win 20-17. They will go on to the quarterfinals to play the New England Patriots in hopes for an AFC Championship bid.

Comments on Titans: I think everyone would agree to seeing a colts/titans AFC Championship game. Not only would the winner get to the Super Bowl, but also claim the AFC South Title at the same time.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The packers also had a close game against the Seattle Seahawks...close enough to send the game into overtime where Seahawk QB Matt Hasselbeck made a guarantee that his team would win....too bad it didn't turn out that way for him. On a Third and ten conversion, Hasselbeck threw an interception to Al Harris who took it back 52 yards for the TD to win the game 33-27 and carry the packers on to the next round where they will take on the Philly Eagles.

Comments on Packers: They will Travel to Philly to take on not only the Eagles Fotball team, but also the fans that AFN voted as the worst in sports. Putting that aside, I'm sure hasselbeck is gonna be cleaning the egg off his face for his "We want the ball and we're gonna score" comment after the coin toss on his way back to Seattle.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I will have another playoff edition after these two teams have played their quarterfinal games. Good luck to the two teams!

I don't think my heart can take many more Packer games this year . . .

well, if mcnair can get his game together this week, and george can keep up his running, i think a colts/titans afc championship game is on the way.

and maybe third time's the charm?
